How much should we learn about SEO and content strategy to keep up with our PKM practices
Topic cames a collision between different blogs post I read this week on difficulties to do searches on Google, SEO strategies to optimze placement, a webinar by Curata and a Content Strategy MOOC on Coursera.
How much should we take into account the strategies of people seeking our attention when we are ourselves on a mission of searching relevant information. Behind is how much should we learn about SEO and content strategy to keep up with our PKM practices. Sounds like a useless knowledge but my own background says the opposite.
PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
