How to find the proper knowledge to solve problems and make sure we learn the right things from experience

What are your problem solving practices and how it relates to PKM (remember knowledge is in part used to solve problems we didn’t expected). Problem solving as I see it is the hardest way to learn. hard because it takes a lot of time and we learn tons of things not always useful. Hard also because usually the last thing we are concerned of is keeping track of what we learned. We just want the problem to be fixed. – Strategies when problems become unsolvable – Searching for options where, when, how – How to favor imagination under stress of time and constrains – Learning from problem solving (what is worth keeping and how) What do you think? I had another topic on categorization but it’s not ready. PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
