During a recent PKMChat ideation session on starting a book club interest was expressed in the topic of ‘Focus’ and a request was made that we have a chat on this topic. Today we’ll explore what focus means, why it’s important and how to improve it.
“Focus is the ability to put your mind where you want, when you want and for how long you want to.”
We’ve started curating links to resources in our Diigo PKMChat group and tagging them with ‘Focus’:
https://groups.diigo.com/group/pkmchat/content/tag/Focus
And Michelle Ockers has a Pinterest board with visual content (eg. infographics) on topic of ‘Focus’:

If you’d like to contribute resources to either collection request access as a collaborator in either Diigo or Pinterest.
PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
