This chat starts where our pre-last chat ended

This chat gets back a little deeper in how to connect dots. Dots are ideas, concepts we learn. This chat was inspired by a discussion toward the end of The Marketing Seminar. The idea from one of coach was that we have now all the elements, the dots but it’s left to us to connect them to build our own project. It’s not publicly accessible but it referred to a *very* short blog post by Seth Godin on same topic.
Connecting dots (or collecting dots)
and to a much longer podcast episode of Akimbo, the podcast of Seth Godin: https://www.akimbo.me/blog/s-3-e-10-connect-the-dotsq-a-about-stop-stealing-dreams The podcast was mostly about the importance to teach kids to connect dots more than to collect and accumulate dots. Great thinking but at no point the question of how to connect dots came out. Since #PKMChat are curious and questioning people I thought it would be a great occasion to search for answers in our own experience and share how we do. While the original topic was about kids, students, college, teachers it’s a mental activity perfectly valid for us constant learners seeking thinking performance.
PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
