Effective sharing of productions done during learning. What, How, When, Why

As learners of managed experience we are asked to produce some work. This work can be collected in places where it’s easy to share _and_ to give feedback. It could be a WordPress blog as it’s common in some workshops or MOOCs. However most learners are not familiar with that or don’t want to make it public. This is how portfolios systems came out. Now if we extrapolate a bit, exit the academic realm we can set free our imagination. Instead of managed learning experience it can be during many other occasions like working out loud. What are those occasions, what should we expect to see? what kind of feedback do we expect, is acceptable. The kind of things we share can be very vast as well. What about throwing some ideas. Things that are already possible or things we would like to see in the future. How do we connect what we share with our progress and plans. Using the metaphor of the map, we need to share both places of interest and how we got there. One side benefit will be to add extra context to our sharing. This is often what lack in recent project I’ve seen. Context is key but can only be added by the learner. It takes time and effort. How far can we go? We had already a topic on tracking, sharing goals. Not surprising that topics eventually connect and slightly overlap. I’ll try to frame the question to limit the overlap. I see this chat as being a bit of brainstorming out loud. PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
