Use cases of Microlearning

Use Cases of #Microlearning #PKMchat an “unofficial” Storify by Simon @srjf, officialized https://storify.com/srjf/x-pkmchat-2017-02-01-on-wednesday-1-february-2017- I reviewed several sources on MicroLearning these last days to come to the synthesis on my tentative sketchnote. I though that maybe it’s time for a second take on micro-learning and take a deep dive on some aspects ala #PKMChat. One that interests me is when it applies, which outcomes could be expected, which alternatives. First from learner pov, from someone who wants to share his knowledge as well.
We will start with questions around ‘why short’ and ‘how short’. It’s a good place to start especially from a learner’s point of view says Taruna. Identifying the desired outcome seems to be a good selector to decide if MicroLearning is applicable, beneficial and achievable. It’s our second take on Microlearning but much has been said about it. With some distance, some perspective we could finally find the best use cases of MicroLearning. Check our last chat on the topic, 2 years ago and what was shared afterward

PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
